Strong at the broken places
I have often wanted to ask the question in my interviews; “How can a girl be like Ernest Hemingway?” I finally slipped it into an upcoming interview with poet and blogger Hannah Mietrecently. But in the last week, I am beginning to be able to answer the question for myself.
A girl can be like Ernest Hemingway by traveling and being open to new experiences, a girl can be like Hemingway by taking her writing seriously and committing to it. A girl can also be like Hemingway by having courage; revealing grace under pressure.
In the next few weeks I will not be blogging as often as I take care of some medical issues. I will have time to read and write more interviews as I recover. After all, the blog must go on! I am planning to post several more clips of Hadley audio in the meantime, because I know how much you enjoy them and because I’d like to keep you all as readers and as friends.
Allie
