    Hi Marianne,

    Yes, I think this was the last time they saw each other. I remember reading somewhere that Hemingway called Hadley from Cuba while he was working on “A Moveable Feast.” He called to clarify the names of people and the chronology of events that had happened during their years in Paris. Knowing him as well as she did, she was very sad after the phone call because of his mental state at that time. I will try to find a reference for this –

    Great to hear from you. I have so missed my online friendships! Did you finish your book about the Moors? I have a unrealistically huge stack of books on Spain to get me through the winter.
